While balancing a singing career, I got to work for American Ballet Theatre, the New York City Ballet, and the New York Philharmonic on their fundraising and subscriptions campaigns. In the process, I fell in love with arts development: the process of building a community of arts lovers, and seeing the tangible impact their gifts made. Seeing the direct results of fundraising you were a part of, like the expansion of community outreach programs or the premiere of a brand new production, is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling.
